The 9am pirate ring around revealed that Bonnici was up the coast, Youngy was working, Webster was also hungover but keen as, and close pal of LRPC Jay Bardon was frothing to fish!
Both Blackbeard and Feathersword were really suffering after monster nights on the drink - celebrating their respective chrissy parties, and were definitely unable to safely operate their own boats. It was quickly decided that they'd fish out of Jay's new boat - as Jay had smartly stayed off the grog that night!
The session could have been called off at any moment as Jay had to put up with the utter hungover garbage talk flowing from Clarky and Websters mouths!
Anyway....hangovers soon dissolved as the boys raced across a glassed off ocean in perfect sunshine, out to a little patch in around 100m of water off the beaches.
This day the fishing was pretty good...a nice catch of 9 smallish reds up to just over 2kg happened pretty quickly and the mood was good.
